I totally understand that the tone of this article is humor, but frankly, to me, being silent over the barbaric massacre of the Palestinians in Gaza (which is how Obama dealt with that event) is not a joke. And treating the subject with levity is a cheap way of giving these warmongers a pass, just as is handing them a "peace" prize. Making a joke out torture, peace prizes or genocide with white phosphorus is anathema to me, and only gives fodder and free passes to the propagandists who think distraction with levity will make the problem go away. What has happened to America? When we can't control our leaders, we make jokes or put pressure on foreign countries to give prizes away. Sounds like a joke, but the silence is deafening.
