Maybe now there will be a serious investigation into the so-called "suicide" of Ted Westhusing, an Army lieutenant colonel who taught philosophy at West Point, and who was reportedly disgusted with what he saw occurring in Iraq.
As reported, he went to the compound of a contractor in Iraq (Blackwater?) and remained too long, making it necessary that he spend the night. He intended to report abuses being committed by contractors in Iraq and, miraculously, he allegedly committed suicide that night.
I have heard nothing about any investigations into his death or the circumstances that were just so convenient for the out-of-control contractors.
