Lewis Black makes an appearance on the Daily Show to comment on the
recent trend of angry outbursts in America, a topic of debate amongst
many newscasters. The comedian tackles the recent indiscretions of Joe
Wilson, Serena
Williams
and
Kanye West, but unlike some pundits, doesn’t
seem to think it’s that big of a deal. Republicans saying inappropriate
things is hardly new. Tennis stars, like Joe McEnroe, have been acting
out for years, and Kanye West is notorious for outlandish behavior. The
only thing that shocks Black, a man prone to fits of anger himself, is
that he hasn’t gotten any publicity from his antics. In response to Joe
Wilson’s rapid increase in campaign donations he emphatically says, “Two
million dollars in six days after one angry outburst? I’m firing my
agent!”
