Jon Stewart interviewed former Arkansas governor and presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee on the Daily Show this week about his take on the philosophical foundations of social conservatism–specifically Conservative opposition to gay marriage. Stewart questioned Huckabee on his insistence that homosexuality is a choice, and wondered why a party that exalts the notion of a meritocracy would be opposed to gay marriage.
