Wisconsin: The Conservative Class War, Part III
The “conscience of America”
The Republican Party of Wisconsin committed suicide last night. We will not rest till every last legislator who voted against workers’ rights is recalled. Let Wisconsin, “the conscience of America,” lead the country in driving a stake through the heart of the GOP. Enough is enough. Where is the outrage when Mark Furlong, CEO of M&I Bank (largest bank based in Wisconsin) takes its shares from above $40 to $6 and sells out to The Bank of Montreal. Where is his “shared sacrifice” when his reward is a salary and benefits of over $2 million and he retains his position? If our Navy operated under these principles, every commander would run his ship onto the rocks and be rewarded with a bigger ship. The time is now. Activate and organize and help us here in Wisconsin to right this ship. Support the middle class before we are gone.
