Web Letter

I just wanted to point out that the virtual town hall was held during the day, when many of us were at work--which, I'm sure, cut the audience considerably.

I was very interested to read your analysis of the press follow-up questions at the next Gibbs press conferences in which the source of at least some press questions was citizen comments. As one who has sometimes wondered while watching the online version of Gibbs's daily briefing whether the press was on the same planet as the rest of us, this was refreshing.

Perhaps the future holds more three-way conversations: The president, the press and us citizens.
