Prior to Israeli commandos’ attacks, Ret. Col. Ann Wright spoke to an interviewer from aboard the Gaza Freedom Flotilla. After a career in the US Army and as a diplomat, Wright quit in protest over the Iraq war, and has been an outspoken critic of US policy in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Gaza Freedom Flotilla was heading to Gaza with aid and solidarity.
