When people hear of two Americas, they usually think of economic inequality. But now Sarah Palin, Nancy Pfotenhauer, and Michele Bachmann have espoused a new way of dividing an already ideologically divided nation: There are “pro-” or “real” American areas and “anti-” or fake American areas.
