In a debate short on soundbites, this moment really stood out. Barack Obama and John McCain were in the midst of a fairly tense back and forth over whether or not meeting with Iran without preconditions was sound policy. Obama in his rebuttal points out how numerous Secretaries of State and John McCain’s own adviser Henry Kissinger have embraced his position. He then pointed out how McCain has recently suggested he wouldn’t even meet with NATO ally Spain. Some bloggers are suggesting McCain muttered “horseshit” while Obama was chastising him for his ridiculous position. What do you think?
