Delta Ndou: Zimbabweans Want Their Land Back

In 1980, when Zimbabwe gained independence from Britain, 2,000 people owned seventy percent of the land, leaving 12 million Zimbabweans with only the desolate, non-arable parts of their country. The agreement was that ten years after independence a land redistribution program would take place. More than thirty years later this still has yet to happen.

In this video recorded at Netroots Nation 2011, Zimbabwean journalist and blogger Delta Ndou describes the perpetual institutionalized colonization that continues to characterize the country's plight.
