Yolanda Andrews is just one of thousands of homeowners across the country struggling to keep her house. After seeing too many neighbors face foreclosure, Andrews has joined the Home Defenders League to stand up against the predatory banks that pushed doomed mortgages in low-income communities of color. On December 6, the first anniversary of Occupy Our Homes, housing activists will protest outside New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's house to demand assistance for underwater homeowners. The action will be one of many taking place across the country, protesting big banks and reclaiming homes for the families that desperately need them.
