Great reminder of what an important film DTRT was and still is. White and black Americans still see the world through very different lenses based on very different experiences. This is apparent over and over again, from OJ to Clarence Thomas to Jeremiah Wright to Henry Louis Gates. Anytime a white person asks why a black person "is so angry," they need to be reminded of American history--distant, recent and ongoing.
