In 2010, a man named Anastacio Hernández-Rojas died after US Border Patrol officials beat and stunned him with a Taser as, official reports claimed, he resisted deportation. But newly discovered eyewitness videos have revealed new and different details about the abuse. In collaboration with The Nation Institute’s Investigative Fund, PBS’s Need to Know investigates whether US Border Patrol agents use excessive force to quell illegal immigration.
