Nation contributor Max Blumenthal (author of
Republican Gomorrah) teams up with AlterNet to present a short
documentary on the 9/12 tea party
protests. Blumenthal captures the protest’s atmosphere of ignorance by
interviewing the rally’s most delusional attendees.
Some of the highlights include die-hard Glenn Beck fans, birthers, and a
man who claims Obama is “the biggest nazi in the world.” The icing on the cake is that some of these protesters don’t even have health insurance (or pay “up the wazoo” for it).
