The scandal, though understandably disturbing, is diverting the public’s attention from a more serious accusation that surfaced recently. Cain’s campaign has been accused of accepting nearly $40,000 in campaign donations from Prosperity USA, a Wisconsin non-profit co-founded by Cain’s chief of staff, Mark Block, who has a track record of questionable campaign fundraising.
