The American Women Quarters Program features pioneering women, including: Maya Angelou (writer/activist), Bessie Coleman (the first African American and first Native American woman licensed pilot), Anna May Wong (the first Chinese American film star in Hollywood), and Maria Tallchief (A member of the Osage Nation, the first American prima ballerina).
