In the three weeks since Sarah Palin became a vice presidential candidate, she and members of her staff have touted Palin as a reformer, offering various examples of her political achievements, some of which are wildly overstated or outright false. Thursday, The Today Show spotlighted some of the campaign’s more egregious misrepresentations, such as McCain’s assertion that Palin “knows more about energy than probably anyone else in the United States” as well as Palin’s subsequent revision that she only meant oil and gas, which is also untrue.
