The Carey McWilliams Investigative Reporting Program

The Carey McWilliams Investigative Reporting Program was founded by a generous bequest from the estate of Robert Sherrill, longtime Nation contributor and investigative journalist. The program supports The Nation’s investigative reporting in the spirit of Sherill’s friend, mentor, and editor at The Nation, the great Carey McWilliams, who helmed the magazine from 1955 to 1975.
