Takashi Williams is a Harlem native and recent graduate of Columbia University, where his focus was ethnicity and race studies and English. His award-winning senior thesis examined misogynoir on the women’s tennis circuit. A freelance sports journalist, his work explores the intersections of sports, race, gender, and politics.
