Coco Howard is a multidisciplinary self taught artist from Hawaii, Seattle, and Los Angeles. She is currently based on Hawaii Island, in the town of Kapaau. During the years of 2014 and 2018, Coco maintained a daily six-hour practice of hand-sequining the names of people killed by police in the United States onto three twelve-by-eight-foot American flags to create a memorial titled Uncounted.
