Chris Cardinale

Christopher Cardinale adapted the short story “Mr. Mendoza’s Paintbrush,” by Luis Alberto Urrea, into a graphic novel. In 2018, he created a 3,000 square-foot mural for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. He has collaborated on murals with young adults jailed on Rikers Island. Currently, he’s working on a graphic novel biography of the journalist and activist Dorothy Day.
