The latest of the creative efforts of JibJab, this video summarizes the events of 2008 such as the economic meltdown, the election and Eliot Spitzer scandal through a musical parody of the children’s rhyme “Hello Operator” (also known as Miss Susie). JibJab garnered international attention when it released satiric videos of Al Gore and George W. Bush in 2000, and of John Kerry and Bush in 2004. The 2004 video featured the presidential rivals singing “This Land is Your Land” and included brief appearances by other prominent political figures such as the Clintons, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dick Cheney.
