The video montage, put together by Media Matters for America, shows how
obsessively and systematically the cable news talking heads (on all the
major networks, not just FOX) routinely refer to John McCain as a
“maverick” without any analysis or cynicism as if it is an undeniable
fact. Perhaps Chris Matthews is right when he admits that the press just
