Labor is on the march! The past year has witnessed a surge in rank-and-file organizing across the country — nowhere more so than New York City. From baristas to housekeepers, from taxi drivers to Amazon workers, working people are taking on the behemoths of American capitalism. And they are winning. Why are these nascent organizing efforts succeeding? What do they mean for the future of the labor movement in America? And how can concerned citizens join together to support them?

To make sense of workers’ recent victories and explore strategies for building on them, The Nation is hosting a conversation featuring scholars and organizers from across the labor movement. There will be ample time for audience questions and engagement.

All ticket-holders will be sent a link to the recording the following day. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
