Yara M. Asi, PhD, is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Central Florida, a Nonresident Fellow at the Arab Center Washington, D.C., and a policy analyst with Al-Shabaka. Her research focuses on health and human rights in fragile and conflict-affected environments. She is a 2020–21 Fulbright US Scholar to the West Bank.
