Lisa M. Corrigan

Lisa M. Corrigan is a professor of communication and director of gender studies at the University of Arkansas, with over 20 years of experience in higher education. She writes about social movements, democracy, and politics. She’s the author of Prison Power: How Prison Influenced the Movement for Black Liberation (2016) and Black Feelings: Race and Affect in the Long Sixties (2020). She cohosts the podcast Lean Back: Critical Feminist Conversations with Laura Weiderhaft.
