Lars Trägårdh

Lars Trägårdh is a historian who taught at Barnard College, Columbia University, before returning in 2010 to Sweden, where he now serves as professor of history at Ersta Sköndal University College in Stockholm. Aside from his academic research, he frequently comments on Swedish and American politics in Swedish and international media. Between 2011 and 2013 he was an independent member of the Commission on the Future of Sweden, headed by then–Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.
