Janis Selby Jones is an educator, artist, and environmentalist who cleans beaches in North County San Diego and creates art with the plastic debris that she finds. She conducts hands-on Art to Raise Awareness workshops in K-12 classrooms and hosts awareness-raising activities at festivals throughout San Diego County. In addition, she advocates for common sense plastic pollution reduction policies.
