Hilda Chacón is a professor of Spanish language and Latin American literature and culture at Nazareth College. She is a journalist and media producer as her first career. Her scholarly work has concentrated on online activism and contestatory uses of social media in Latin America with a focus of interest in the relationship between Mexico and the United States, including Latinx communities in the United States. She is a feminist and a creative writer.
