Catherine Lutz is the co-founder of Costs of War at Brown University's Watson School for International and Public Affairs. The Thomas J. Watson Jr. Family Professor Emerita of Anthropology and International Studies at Brown, she is the author of Homefront and other books and articles on war, health, and military basing.
