Last week, Democrats held their first debate for the 2016 presidential election. On Friday, Katrina vanden Heuvel appeared on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher to discuss the presidential nominees alongside panelists Johann Hari, John Feehery and Lawrence Lessig. After the show, they answered viewer questions on “Overtime,” where their conversation ranged from the effect of Bernie Sanders on left-wing politics to the media’s love for Donald Trump clickbait and what a real Benghazi committee might look like.
