Just How Out of Touch Are the Romneys?

If Romney wins Ohio, he’ll be in a good position to win the nomination. But that doesn’t mean voters like him.

Last night on The Ed Show, John Nichols, Washington correspondent for The Nation, weighed in on the Romneys’ inability to connect with ordinary Americans and the reasons why voters are “settling” for Mitt. It has more to do, said Nichols, “with the fact that the wheels have come off Santorum’s campaign—it really looks like amateur hour at this point—and Newt Gingrich just is not transferrable beyond the South.”
