  1. 'Gaza One Year Later: Picking up the Pieces'

    The Palestine Center invites you to a briefing, "Gaza One Year Later: Picking up the Pieces," with Mr. Bill Corcoran, president of American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) and former vice president of the Christian Children's Fund, a $300 million nonprofit serving children and their families in thirty-two countries. During the 1990s, Mr. Corcoran directed the Pontifical Mission for Palestine based in Jordan with projects there and in Iraq. He also supervised various projects in Lebanon and Syria. This briefing is free and open to the public. A light lunch will be served to registered guests at 12:30pm. The briefing and question/answer period will be from 1-2pm. Registration is required. Chanin School of Architecture professor, presents his visionary idea of the interplay between humanity and the contemporary environment and what the future of architecture could be, in the exhibition "The Great White Whale Is Black," featuring his calligraphic brush and ink paintings and drawings.
