Danny Postel is Associate Director of the Center for Middle East Studies at the University of Denver. He is the author of Reading "Legitimation Crisis" in Tehran: Iran and the Future of Liberalism (2006) and co-editor, with Nader Hashemi, of The People Reloaded: The Green Movement and the Struggle for Iran's Future (2011). His most recent book, The Syria Dilemma (2013), was named one of the best books of 2013 by The Progressive. His website is here.
