Carmen Boullosa (carmenboullosa.net), a Mexican novelist and poet, is distinguished lecturer at City College in New York. Her most recent novel available in English is Cleopatra Dismounts (Grove).Her latest book, La Otra Mano de Lepanto, was named the best Mexican novel of 2005 by the newspaper Reforma.
