Transcript

Bill McKibben leads a discussion about Covid-19 and climate change, and why now is the time to demand that investors stop funding fossil fuel companies. McKibben’s The End of Nature, published in 1989, is regarded as the first book for a general audience about climate change and has appeared in 24 languages. A dynamic public speaker, McKibben is the founder of 350.org, the first planet-wide, grassroots climate change movement, which has organized twenty thousand rallies around the world, spearheaded resistance to the Keystone Pipeline, and launched the fast-growing fossil fuel divestment movement.
