Lorraine Paterson
Lorraine Paterson is a Research Associate with a European Research Council project specializing in Southeast Asia, particularly Vietnam and Cambodia. She has a Ph.D. in History from Yale University and an M.A. in Asian Studies from Cornell University. She has lived and worked extensively in Southeast Asia for over 25 years including three years working for CARE International and the United Nations in Cambodia. She has been leading tours for Distant Horizons for over 20 years to over ten different countries.

Linda Baker
Linda Baker is a Southern Ute tribal member and Navajo. She has served as a tribal gaming commissioner, a NAGPRA liaison for the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and as director of the Southern Ute Museum. Her traditional style Ute beadwork has been accepted into juried shows, including the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Market.
