Ann Telnaes is one of the most highly respected political cartoonists of her generation. In 2001, she became the second female cartoonist to win the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning. She won it again in 2025. In 2017, she received the Reuben Award, and thus became the first woman to have received both the Reuben Award and the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning. Substack
