Here at TBA, I just saw a fiery presentation from a member of the US Steelworkers on the result of deregulation, and inevitable rise of what Rick Perlstein has called E. Coli Conservatism.

And as an astute reader at TPM notes (and we'll be hearing more about that here at TBA), deregulation stands behind much of the financial implosion currently taking place on Wall Street.
