As if the controversial Heartbeat Bill weren’t enough, Ohio governor John Kasich just signed a bill prohibiting late term (twenty weeks and on) abortion. Aside from being an obvious infringement on women’s rights and privacy, this bill promotes unsafe and unhealthy medical practices, as late term abortions are typically due to health complications as opposed to an unwanted pregnancy.

The Nation‘s Melissa Harris-Perry joined MSNBC for a Sound Off segment on this multifold violation of women’s rights.
