Katrina vanden Heuvel, editor and publisher of The Nation, joined Mitt Romney campaign advisor Kevin Madden, ABC News’s Cokie Roberts and Melody Barnes, former domestic policy advisor to the president, to discuss Hilary Rosen’s claim that Ann Romney had "never worked a day in her life." 

"I think this whole debate has been a distraction," said vanden Heuvel. "The issues we should be talking about are equal pay, combatting rising healthcare costs for families and sick payday leave for women. And these are issues that the Republicans oppose."
