How is it that voters become disconnected from the vote, and what can we do about it? On The Dylan Ratigan Show, Nation correspondent Ari Melber and Nation Institute Investigative Journalism Fellow Ari Berman discuss this problem in terms of redistricting in the South. 

With Republicans trying to draw as many Democrats into as few heavily minority districts as possible, Berman says "America is becoming more diverse, and we have more choices in general…but politically, we’re becoming less integrated, and our choices are lessening."
