Denise DiStephan

Denise Di Stephan has more than 28 years of professional writing experience, including freelancing for regional publications and 11 years working as a full-time staff writer for daily newspapers in New Jersey. She has written two articles about the Paycheck Fairness Act for The Nation. 

Denise was born and raised in Queens, N.Y. and graduated with a B.A. in English Writing from Queens College of the City University of New York. While working as a reporter and news editor at the college newspaper, she was also a stringer for The New York Times and a part-time reporter for a weekly newspaper.

Denise lives at the Jersey Shore with her husband and two children.
