In this edition of Lyric Nation, Thomas Sayers Ellis reads "Mr. Dynamite Splits," first published in the April 9, 2007 issue of The Nation, "Or" and "My Meter is Percussive," all of which appear in Skin, Inc: Identity Repair Poems. These poems were recorded by Frank Reynolds.

Thomas Sayers EllisThomas Sayers Ellis is a poet and photographer. A co-founder of The Dark Room Collective in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1988, he is an assistant professor of creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College. He has published two volumes of poetry, The Maverick Room and Skin, Inc., and is currently at work on a collection of photographs titled The Go-Go Book: People in the Pocket in Washington, D.C.
