Critics scorned the Occupy movement the moment it began. But Occupy proved the naysayers wrong, rising to prominence and dramatically shifting the national discourse to focus on income inequality. Now, as the movement heads into the spring, it will face a different set of challenges that could threaten its life and spirit far more than any critic could.
