‘Bush Shoes’ Become a Big Hit Abroad

The Turkish manufacturer that made the shoe that an Iraqi journalist threw at Bush earlier this month has been inundated by several hundred thousand orders.

Since an Iraqi journalist infamously hurled his shoes at George W. Bush during a press conference last month, the shoe manufacturer has been overwhelmed by orders for the famous shoes. The shoe maker has had to hire one-hundred extra staff members, as there have been over 370,000 orders for the pairs of shoes. Comedian Christian Finnegan came on the program to discuss the phenomenon.
