Since the WikiLeaks saga, new poll says public support for the Afghan war and Obama’s handling of the conflict has hit an all-time low.
Michael Hastings, whose article for Rolling Stone led to exit of Gen. McChrystal, argued recently that he had followed all the rules–hence he’d been approved for another embed in Afghan. But now he’s been denied that opportunity. A Pentagon spokesman did not explain and Hastings has not yet commented.
