Disgrace: On Marc Hauser

And in the humanities?

The contrast between this and what goes on in the humanities is striking. One cannot imagine any other sin than plagiarism in the humanities, which must mean that no one believes anything like science is being done there, i.e., it is not research. One cannot falsify, one cannot misuse evidence, etc. So what does go on there?
