Why would The Nation ask this question prior to the Florida primary instead of right after it? Since Florida is the only primary that Rudy has staked his chances on, the only way to know if he is finished or not is to see how he does in Florida. If he finishes first or a high second he is still viable. If not, he is dead. Asking the question now is showing their obvious smartass bias.

Crazy he is. And mean-spirited & vengeful. The combo of faults will keep him in the race until he is carried off kicking & screaming ... at others.

It doesnt matter. If McCain or Romney wins Florida, he's done. Even if he comes in second, I dont think he will beat McCain or Romney in the long run.....(or Huckabee)

The man is an unmitigated disaster and threatens the country with an extension of his grandiose and paranoid style. He would make Nixon look like Mother Teresa.

I'm talking about Vanden Heuvel's smartass, Liberal sense of humor. Back in November she asked who had the best chance of being the Republican candidate. McCain wasn't listed but she had Lou Dobbs in the mix. That's being a smartass. And as far as I am concerned, she doesn't wear it any better then the Conservative smartasses.

If voters find him "deeply strange," all to the good. Anything to defeat him. If the Republicans succeed in their efforts to steal the 2008 election, which is the only way they can win, he would be the worst case scenario, the last nail in the coffin of the Republic, Anaconda Four.
