What's Next for Citizen Kang?

  1. I'm not sure if Hillary Clinton's tears in New Hampshire were fact or fiction, but it would be fun to see that woven into a future story line. Thanks, Gary...this novel will make The Nation a more interesting place.

  2. Terrific opening—snappy dialogue, subtle suggestions of the conflicts to come, timely topic. I’m already in sympathy with protag. More, Gary, more!

  3. Terrific stuff by an author I've long admired. Looking forward to future installments.

  4. Hillary must get elected first before she can do anything...Give her a break!

  5. Wonderful stuff. Gary Phillips is one of the most inventive minds working in political fiction.

  6. Outstanding!!! Will be checking in (ok at first I thought Kang was the Klingon dude on Star Trek, but now that I'm informed,I'll be back). Glad to see The Nation branching out like this. National Geographic did so with a "travel novel" serialization by Lorenzo Carcaterra and it made reading the mag very interesting...
